As a personal trainer and nutrition coach I know how Menopause affects women
If I had a dollar for every time when my clients told me “Alina, I want to lose the belly that I have gained in menopause” or “I want to be tone because my skin jiggles” – I would be able to buy a bicycle.
So, yes, I have heard, and I have seen the effects of menopause, that’s why I work with ladies who are in this time of their life.
On the other hand, when I was young and my mom was in menopause I saw her mood swings; she was nervous, calm, like a storm or like a summer rain – all in half an hour. And I was thinking how is this possible? Later on, when she did a bone density test and she discovered that she had osteopenia I was freaking out.
That was the moment when I thought “How can I improve my life when I go into Menopause?”
